How a reach truck works?

The mast or the fork frame of the reach-type forklift can move forward and backward. The mast-type forklift refers to that the mast drives the fork to move forward during operation, and stretches out of the front wheel to pick up or put down the goods.The fork carries the goods back,so that the center of gravity of the goods is within the support surface;while the fork forward forklift means that the shelf drives the fork to move forward to the outside of the front wheel for operation, and the fork frame drives the fork to retract into the support plane when walking.The reach truck has two forward-extending outriggers,the outriggers are high,and there are two wheels at the front end of the outriggers.The function of the outriggers is to ensure the stability of the forklift when it is loaded.Compared with the forklift with inserted legs, the front wheels are larger and the outriggers are higher.During operation,the outriggers cannot be inserted into the bottom of the cargo,and the mast can move along the inner track of the outriggers with the entire lifting mechanism, so that the fork forks after picking up the goods,it can be retracted after a slight lift to a height to ensure the stability of the forklift during operation.The mast of the reach-type forklift can move forward along the rails inside the outriggers to facilitate fork-lifting of goods. After the goods are forked, the mast is raised to a certain height, and the mast can return to its original position along the track inside the outrigger,so that the center of gravity of the goods is in the front and rear support legs of the vehicle,so the stability is very good.It is suitable for working in workshops and warehouses.

Reach truck classification:

1. Standing reach truck

The standing electric reach truck has the advantages of no pollution,low noise,high energy conversion efficiency,and simple and convenient operation.It can carry out high-level stacking operations in a limited working space,which is incomparable between counterbalanced forklifts and stacking trucks.Counterbalanced forklifts of the same tonnage require more space, while the height of stacking trucks is relatively high.Low, so to complete high shelf stacking in a limited working space,a reach truck is a better choice,and a standing drive forward is a type of reach truck.

2. Reach truck

The seated reach forklift is supported by three fulcrums.The front, left, and right wheels are the load wheels,and the rear wheel is the driving wheel and the steering wheel.Compared with the four fulcrums, the stability of the three fulcrum forklift is relatively worse, and the walking speed it also needs to be controlled within a certain range.The stand-and-drive forklift designed this time has been optimized in this respect.It adopts four-wheel support.The rear wheel is composed of a steering drive wheel and an auxiliary wheel.They are connected by a suspension mechanism,which greatly improves the forklift stability and shock absorption.

Precautions for Reach Truck Operation:

1. Special attention should be paid to the timely charging of the battery and the correct maintenance of the battery during the use of the reach truck.Pay attention to the method when charging the battery.It is necessary to fully charge the battery without overcharging the battery.

2.In the operation of the reach truck,try to use less long-term and long-distance acceleration.When the vehicle starts and the speed increases,hold the accelerator pedal.If the road conditions are good,the vehicle will continue to accelerate.When the vehicle needs to decelerate,relax the accelerator pedal and lightly step on the brake pedal,so that the energy of deceleration can be fully utilized.If the vehicle has regenerative braking function,the kinetic energy during deceleration can be recovered.When the vehicle is going down a slope,do not disconnect the circuit of the driving motor, but lightly step on the brake pedal to make the vehicle run in the state of regenerative braking,and use the kinetic energy of the vehicle to reduce the energy consumption of the battery.

3.When the vehicle is running,do not mistake the "forward, reverse" direction switch as the steering switch.Do not press the brake pedal all the way down unless you need to slow down urgently.During the operation of the vehicle,if the battery is found to be low in power (obtained by the electricity meter,power loss indicator light and other alarm devices),the battery should be charged as soon as possible to prevent the battery from being over-discharged.
