How to do daily maintenance of internal combustion forklift?

General guidelines for daily maintenance of internal combustion forklift from NEOlift:

1. Check the oil level:

Check the engine oil level using the dipstick and add more oil if necessary.

2. Inspect the hydraulic system:

Check for leaks and ensure that the hydraulic fluid level is sufficient.

3. Check the battery:

Check the battery electrolyte level and inspect the battery cables, terminals, and connections.

4. Inspect the brakes:

Check the brake fluid level and inspect the brake pads and discs for wear and tear.

5. Check the tires:

Inspect the tire conditions and air pressure.

6. Check the fuel level:

Ensure that the fuel level is sufficient and that there are no leaks in the fuel system.

7. Inspect the filters:

Check the air filter and fuel filter, and replace them if necessary.

8. Grease the fittings:

Lubricate all the fittings and connectors with grease.

9. Check all the lights:

Ensure all the forklift’s lights are functioning properly.

10. Clean and inspect the forklift:

Clean the forklift, remove dirt and debris, and inspect for any damage, cracks, or leaks.
